Lori Welch is a trial attorney for The Hall Law Group. Lori grew up just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. She is an effective and compassionate advocate for her clients in and out of the courtroom. Mrs. Welch graduated Cum Laude from South Carolina’s Honors College in 2005 and excelled as a computer software consultant for four years, prior to attending the Walter F. George Mercer School of Law in 2009. While in law school, Mrs. Welch served on Mercer’s Advocacy Council, actively competed in and coached the Mercer Law Mock Trial Team, worked as legal intern for the Georgia Secretary of State Professional Licensing Board, served as law clerk for the Superior Court of Houston County, chaired Joshua’s Wish, a philanthropy funding pediatric brain tumor research, and began trying cases at the Macon Circuit Public Defenders Office under Georgia’s Third Year Practice Act. Upon graduation, Mrs. Welch completed Mercer Law School’s esteemed Advanced Legal Writing Certificate Program and was recognized for her significant public service work, while achieving her juris doctorate degree. Mrs. Welch continued diligent representation of her clients, while serving as an Assistant Public Defender in the Conasaugua Judicial Circuit in Dalton, Georgia and the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit in Statesboro, Georgia. The experience and exposure to criminal charges, ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies, gained while working in the public sector, has proven invaluable to Mrs. Welch’s current practice. Mrs. Welch is a proud graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer’s College and most recently obtained an acquittal for her client, charged in a multi-defendant murder case. In December of 2014, Mrs. Welch joined the Hall Law Group, P.C. as an associate attorney, specializing in both criminal and family law. Outside of the courtroom, Mrs. Welch is partial to college football, travel, and the beach.
Paige is a life-long resident of Bulloch County. She graduated with Honors from Statesboro High School in 2008 after participating in the dual-enrollment program at Georgia Southern University In 2008, Paige moved to Athens, Georgia to attend the University of Georgia. Paige received the HOPE Scholarship, was a member of the University of Georgia Dean’s list and was inducted in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Paige was also a regular participant in Speedway Children’s Charities and was an active sister in Kappa Delta Sorority. After majoring in Child and Family Development, Paige graduated cum laude in 2011 from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. Paige attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was the Bryant T. Castellow Memorial Scholarship recipient for three consecutive years. Paige graduated with a Juris Doctor in May 2014. Paige interned with the Ogeechee Judicial Superior Court in 2011. She has also been a Law Clerk in the Athens-Clarke County Juvenile Court in Athens, Georgia. She was involved in the planning and development of the Family Dependency Treatment Court in the Athens-Clarke County Juvenile Court. Paige was also a Law Clerk practicing under the Third-Year Practice Act in 2013. Paige is a registered mediator, with experience mediating in the Athens-Clarke County Magistrate Court in Athens, Georgia. Paige is also a Certified Court Appointed Special Advocate and has handled cases in Clarke and Oconee counties. Paige is currently working as an Attorney with Hall Law Group, P.C. and concentrates in Bankruptcy Law and Family Law.
